Jun 20 2007	SUCCESS OF NEW MENU The new school menu has been approved and the children had their first taste of it on Monday, 14th May. Parents and children co-operated on a survey to find out what selection of nutritious, healthy meals should be served at lunchtime. It is hoped to invite parents along to tuck into a meal sometime in the near future. The new Grab-a-Bag packed lunch is a real winner. Children enjoy these packed lunches which are prepared by the kitchen staff - and they are popular with children who don't want a hot lunch. Starting next term, there will be a new menu and fresh ideas to maintain the numbers of children having a meal or packed lunch prepared at school. Parents as well as children are invited to put forward suggestions.

May 15 2007	SPORTS SUCCESS FOR RECEPTION CHILDREN The annual sports event - running and jumping - for the reception classes was held in St. Christopher's Sports Hall. Three other schools entered teams and West Leigh Infants picked up a trophy for finishing second.
